Our Programs
Fostering Bright Futures
EducationWe believe education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty. We provide high quality education with a Christ-centred focus for over 900 vulnerable children in Rakai. Many are orphaned or come from single family homes or households that need extra support.
Special NeedsWe believe the Gospel is for everyone. Our education program for the blind and deaf brings hope to some of the most marginalized children. While learning braille or sign language the children also learn about the Father's great love for them and their identity in Christ, despite what the world says.
Medical CareWe believe Jesus heals. Our clinic is a place of refuge for the people of Lutungu and surrounding villages. The clinic goes beyond providing a place for physical healing and providing medicine for conditions like typhoid. It brings opportunity to share about our great Healer, Jesus Christ.
Feeding ProgramWe believe children shouldn't have to worry about where their next meal comes from. Our feeding program serves close to 2,000 meals each day for vulnerable children. They can come to school and focus on their studies rather than worrying about finding food.
Orphan CareWe believe everyone is a child of God. We have over 100 children who live on campus. When no one is available to take in a child, our doors are always open to them. Modelling God's example of adoption, we welcome children who are in need of a family.
EmploymentWe believe in local people to changing their own communities. We provide salaries for local men and women; from cooks to teachers to nurses. Employment means they provide for their families while serving faithfully in the Kingdom of God.
Community Outreach
We believe in serving the communities around us. We operate various community outreach projects. From food relief during the pandemic to rebuilding homes or funding critical medical procedures, we want to be Christ's tangible love to those around us.
Sustainability
We believe in empowerment and with empowerment comes sustainability. During the 2020 Pandemic, we partnered with Messengers of Grace to build a gas station which provides a sustainable income for to community.
DiscipleshipWe believe that every person should have the opportunity to not only hear the Gospel but be nurtured and discipled in Truth. Our pastors, teachers, and support staff all take part in training up our children and their families in the ways of the Word.
